Tires
Satisfying tire shine
Two products, about ten dollars and thirty five dollars, and the finish is whatever you decide it is. Strip the sidewall first, mix the dilution you want, then lay it on with a brush that keeps it off the wheel.
Under $10
The Feather
The applicator
An ultra soft detail brush that is soft and narrow on purpose. You load the brush instead of the tire, so the dressing lands on the rubber and nowhere near the wheel you just cleaned.
Reach for it whenThe sidewall is low profile and a big brush would fling product all over a clean wheel.
- Soft, narrow bristles for low profile sidewalls
- Load the brush, not the tire, for total control
- No sling onto the wheel face
- Also handles vents, trim and tight detail work

Decked Out
The dressing
A water based concentrate, which is the whole point. The same bottle gives you high gloss, satin or flat matte depending on how you cut it, instead of buying three different dressings.
Reach for it whenYou want to pick the finish yourself rather than take whatever is in the bottle.
- 1 to 1 for high gloss
- 2 to 1 for satin
- Up to 10 to 1 for flat factory matte
- Water based, so it soaks in instead of slinging

Never heard of us?
A family business, not a brand
Jeremy Stevens started detailing in 1996 and built Shine Supply out of the family garage in 2008. His two sons work alongside him today, and it is still run out of one shop in Ventura, California. It has never been sold to private equity and it never will be.
Still on the fence, or just want to learn more about the products? Call us at 805-535-4332. You will talk to one of our team members, not a robot and not AI, and you will not get an automated email back. Your connection with us is our top priority, always.
Step one
The rest of the wheel and tire setup
Dressing is the last step, not the first. Clean the wheel and strip the tire before any dressing goes on, or it will go down patchy no matter what you apply it with.
The Tire Dressing Kit
Both of the above in one box, with a labeled mixing bottle. Car version comes with the Feather, truck version comes with the Leveler.
$42.00
Wise Guy
Strip the sidewall first. Dressing over old dressing and browning is why tires go blotchy.
$26.0016 oz
Cool Guy
Iron removing wheel cleaner. Dissolves brake dust on contact, acid free and safe on the finish.
$18.0016 oz
Tire Dressing Brush
The bigger applicator. For truck and off road sidewalls that take a lot more product than a car tire.
$6.95
The Wheel Mitt
Two pack. Cleans the wheel face by hand, which is safer on a painted or polished finish than a brush.
$14.002 pack
The Barrel Runner
A microfiber belt you thread behind the spokes to reach the barrel and the backs of the spokes.
$7.99
Step two
Then wash the rest of it
Wheels and tires are the dirtiest part of the vehicle, which is why they go first. Once they are done and rinsed, the paint is next.
Hotshot Soap
The most ordered thing we make. High foam, rinses clean, leaves nothing behind on the paint.
$12.0016 oz
The Foam Thrower
Our foam cannon. Lay down foam to loosen the dirt before anything touches the paint.
$50.00
The Soap Hand
The wash mitt for paint. Deep pile lifts dirt up and away instead of dragging it across.
$15.00
The Drying Dutchman
30 by 30. Enough towel to dry a whole vehicle before anything has a chance to spot.
$35.0030x30
Step three
After the wash
The final wipe is what makes the difference between clean and finished.
Last step
Finish with the glass
Glass is the last thing you do and the first thing you notice on the drive home.
The Sun Shine Kit
Concentrated glass cleaner, no ammonia. Comes with the bottle and sprayer.
$25.00
The Look Out Towels
Glass specific towels. Three pack, because a glass towel should never touch anything else.
$15.003 pack

Questions we get
How do I get a matte finish instead of a shiny one?
Dilute it further. Decked Out is a concentrate, so the ratio decides the finish. Cut it 1 to 1 for high gloss, 2 to 1 for satin, and as far as 10 to 1 for a flat factory matte look.
That is the whole reason it is sold as a concentrate. One bottle covers every finish instead of making you buy three separate dressings.
Why the Feather instead of a normal applicator?
Because of how you use it. With a big applicator you load the tire, and on a low profile sidewall there is barely any rubber to aim at, so product ends up on the wheel face you just cleaned.
The Feather is soft and narrow, so you load the brush lightly and work along the sidewall. Nothing lands where it should not. Add a second light pass if you want it wetter.
Will it sling onto my paint?
Decked Out is water based rather than a silicone slick, so it soaks into the rubber instead of sitting on top as a greasy film. Let it absorb before you drive and you should not get sling.
If you are getting sling, it is usually too much product at too strong a dilution. Back the ratio off and do a second light pass instead of one heavy one.
Why do my tires come out blotchy?
Almost always because dressing is going on over old dressing and browning. The new product cannot bond evenly to a sidewall that already has a layer on it.
Strip the tire with Wise Guy first, every time. Let it dry completely, then dress it. That one step fixes most blotchy tire problems.
I have a truck. Is the Feather still right?
Probably not. A big truck or off road sidewall takes a lot of product and the Feather is built narrow on purpose.
For those, mist the dressing straight onto the tire and level it out with the Tire Dressing Brush, or get the truck version of the Tire Dressing Kit, which comes with the Leveler.
Who actually owns Shine Supply?
Jeremy Stevens. He got into detailing in 1996, started Shine Supply out of the family garage in 2008, and it has grown into what it is today. Two of his boys work alongside him, and the rest of the team has been with us a long time.
No private equity, no parent company. Just the family and the people we work with every day.

No, and that is intentional. Staying off Amazon lets us keep full control over the experience and the connection to our customers.
It also protects our reputation and the reputation of the dealers who carry our product and use it to provide for their families. We want them to have full ownership of that. shinesupply.com is the only place to get it.
