Built from the Detail Shop

Shine Supply started in 1996 with a truck, a trailer, and a lot of long days. Everything we sell, we use first. That hasn't changed.

Summer of 1996

I started detailing out of a truck in the summer of 1996. No social media. No smartphones. No website to throw up and hope people find you. It was just me, a stack of business cards, and a pair of shoes that needed replacing every few months.

I knocked on doors. I walked into hair salons, dentist offices, car dealerships, anywhere people might need their ride detailed. I left cards on windshields at parking lots. I introduced myself to strangers and asked if they needed their car cleaned. That was marketing in 1996. You either showed up and put in the work or you didn't eat.

I had four boys at home and a wife holding everything together while I was out grinding all day. There was no backup plan. I needed to make this work to provide for my family, and the only way to do that was to outwork everyone else.

I ran my mobile detailing business for years, but I knew I could do more. I'd been using every product on the market and couldn't find ones I fully trusted. So I took my passion for detailing and started making my own. That was the beginning of Shine Supply.

From the Ground Up

Shine Supply started with long days at car shows, handing out flyers, knocking on doors, and selling products out of my trailer. No investors. No marketing budget. Just the work.

In 2014, I was shipping products out of my garage after a full day of mobile detailing. Now we fill, package, pack, and ship every single order in house out of our headquarters in Ventura, California. Proudly made and shipped in the USA. But the standard hasn't changed. Every product gets tested at Stevens Detailing before it ever goes to market.

Still in the Shop

I still run Stevens Detailing. That's not just backstory, it's the reason the products are good. We use everything we sell on real customers' rides, every single day. If something doesn't hold up at the shop, it doesn't go on the shelf.

We work with top chemists to make sure everything that leaves our warehouse is the absolute best it can be. But the final test is always the same: does it work on the rides we're detailing today?

The Timeline

1996

Jeremy starts Stevens Mobile Detailing out of a truck and trailer.

2007

Shine Supply is born. First products developed and tested at the detail shop.

2014

Operations move from the garage to headquarters in Ventura, CA. Everything filled, packed, and shipped in house.

Today

Full product line shipped nationwide. Stevens Detailing still runs daily. Every product still tested in the shop.
