Do it right
How to foam
The pre soak is what keeps grit off your paint. Here is the short version.
Soap first, then water
Add 2 to 4 oz of soap to the bottle, then fill the rest with water. You get richer foam and use less product.
Lay a full blanket
Cover the whole vehicle, then give the foam time to dwell and break the dirt loose before anything touches the paint.
Do your contact wash
Scrub it, rinse it, dry it. Clean pad on the top half, a separate one for the lower panels.
Rinse your cannon out
Rinse the bottle and sprayer after every wash. That is what keeps the pickup and filter working.
