Wax is far from dead. Daddy-O is a durable paint sealant that lays down 8 to 12 months of protection from a single application, no machine and no cure time to plan around. Ride Shine keeps it topped up after every wash. Between the two, this is the simplest way to protect uncoated paint and keep it looking freshly done all year.

• Daddy-O does the protecting: A durable sealant built to hold up against weather, UV, and road film. One layer, 8 to 12 months. That is the whole pitch.
• Ride Shine does the maintaining: A carnauba based detail spray you wipe on after every wash. It keeps the gloss up and extends the life of the sealant underneath instead of letting it wear down untouched.
• It also fixes your mistakes: If you leave shadowing or a high spot when leveling the Daddy-O, Ride Shine on a fresh towel clears it. Most sealant problems are leveling problems.
• Five Cosmo towels: 600gsm circular knit microfiber, edgeless and tag free. Enough to level a whole vehicle without reaching for a loaded towel.
• Decon first or don't bother: A sealant bonds to the surface you put it on. If the paint is contaminated, you are sealing the contamination in and the protection will not last. Wash and decontaminate before you start.
• Not for a coated vehicle: If your paint already has a ceramic coating, this is not the kit. Layering a sealant over a coating chokes the hydrophobics. Use our Ceramic Coating Maintenance Kit instead.

How to Use

1. Start clean. Wash and decontaminate the paint first. If it still feels rough after washing, clay it. The sealant bonds to whatever is on the surface, so make sure that is paint and nothing else.
2. Load the applicator. Put a good amount of Daddy-O onto the Large Blue Applicator Pad.
3. Apply panel by panel. Work it into the paint in circular motions, thin and even. Do not do the whole car at once, stay panel by panel so nothing sits too long.
4. Level with a Cosmo. Take a clean Cosmo and level the Daddy-O off the panel.
5. Chase the shadowing. If you see leftover product or a high spot, spray Ride Shine onto a fresh Cosmo and level it out.
6. Maintain after every wash. Spray Ride Shine onto a Cosmo and wipe the vehicle down. This is what keeps the gloss up and stretches the sealant toward the far end of that 8 to 12 months.
