DISSOLVE THE DUST.
Cool Guy is a pH-balanced, acid-free iron-removing wheel cleaner built to dissolve brake dust on contact and pull embedded iron particles out of the wheel surface. The formula turns bright red as it reacts with iron — your visual proof it's working. It's safe enough for ceramic-coated wheels and aggressive enough for regular maintenance washes, without the risk of an acid-based cleaner.

- Iron-removing chemistry: Turns bright red on contact as it binds with brake dust and embedded iron particles. The color change is your visual confirmation that the cleaner is doing its job, not just sitting on the surface.
- Acid-free, pH-balanced formula: Cleans aggressively without the corrosion risk of an acid-based cleaner. No etching, no staining, no aggressive chemistry sitting on brake calipers or lug nuts while you wash.
- Safe on coated wheels: Compatible with factory, painted, clear coated, polished aluminum, powder coated, and ceramic coated wheels. The pH-balanced chemistry won't disturb a ceramic coating's bond.
- Prevents long-term buildup: Used regularly, Cool Guy keeps brake dust and iron contamination from baking into the wheel finish over time. Future washes get easier, not harder.
How to Use
- Rinse wheels thoroughly to knock off loose dirt and cool the surface to the touch.
- Spray Cool Guy liberally onto one wheel. Cover the face, barrel, lug pockets, and spoke gaps.
- Watch for the bright red color change — that's the cleaner binding with brake dust and iron particles.
- Agitate with a wheel brush for the face and a spoke brush for tight areas. Don't let the product dry on the surface.
- Rinse completely before moving to the next wheel.
- Dry the wheel to prevent water spotting.
Detailer Tips
- Work one wheel at a time. Cool Guy needs time to react with the contamination on the wheel surface. If it dries before you rinse, you've lost the dwell and you'll see streaks.
- Always work on cool wheels in the shade. Hot wheel surfaces cause flash-drying and can dull certain finishes — let the wheel cool to ambient temp before spraying.
- Pair Cool Guy with Wise Guy for the complete wheel and tire program. Cool Guy on the wheel face, Wise Guy on the tire and inner barrel. Run them together and rinse the whole setup at once.
- The bright red color is normal and expected. It's the cleaner reacting with iron — not damage, and not a sign you've used too much. If you don't see red, your wheels just don't have much iron contamination yet, which is a good sign.
