Classic Polish is a diminishing-abrasive polish with a minor cutting ability, which lets it pull out heavier haze and polish harder clear coats while still finishing crystal clear in one step. The long cycle time makes it versatile: run it as a final polish on harder clears and heavy haze, or as a light compound on a newer vehicle. Non-filling and silicone free, it is one of the most useful bottles in the lineup.
Minor abrasive, real range: Enough cut to clear heavy haze or lightly correct, then it finishes down to a clean, glossy result.
Long cycle time: Stays workable, so you control the finish through your passes.
No fillers: Crisp, true reflections you can trust, not a temporary shine.
Pads we pair with it: HDO orange foam or the EdgeGuard yellow pad for polishing. For light correction, a microfiber polishing pad or the Tango microfiber polishing pad.
Not for super-soft clears: It is not as fine as Classic Finish Plus. On very soft clear coats, use Classic Finish Plus on a black foam pad since it is finer.

How to Use
Final polish
Apply 2 to 3 dots to prime the pad.
Use light down pressure on your first pass, then lighten up.
Cycle the product until it goes clear, then wipe off and inspect.
If you still have haze, recycle the section with a faster arm speed, check it, and move on to the next panel.
Light correction
Use the Tango or a microfiber polishing pad. Prime the pad first, working the product into the fibers.
Correct the panel just as you would with a normal compound.
Follow with Classic Finish Plus on a black foam pad for softer clears, or Classic Polish on an HDO orange foam pad to polish out any light marring from the correction step.
Detailer Tips
A spritz of Shine Mist extends the cycle and helps the polish finish down.
Follow with Classic Finish Plus on a black foam pad for soft clear coats, or jump straight to your protection of choice (ceramic coating or wax).
Keep it on a dual action for the best, most controllable finish.
Used this on my 1977 c10, the product worked great on old single stage paint! Took the dull paint and made it shine again! This truck has its original paint from the factory. Paired it with orange cutting pad it worked great has the ability to cut and shine really well! Very happy!
This is not the only thing i use the classice cut and classic polish for , but it does excellent for headlight restorations! Thank you guys for all you do!
Classic Polish with the orange pad is a great follow up after using Classic Cut with the blue microfiber pad. An unstoppable combo. Made the paint correction fly by. This was a first time for me using these products together and I’m blown away with the results and ease of correcting. I also used this combo after wet sanding the headlights. Absolutely crazy working results!
I've been using Shine Supply compound and polish for the past 6 years on over a dozen vehicles. Some have had tired oxidized paint, some previously corrected, and everything in between. I always have an easy time working with the product and everytime it comes out looking amazing. I wouldn't use anything else for paint correction. They never disappoint.
Used this polish for a 1 step before applying a coating went on real easy the wipe off was easy and absolutely did what I needed it to do this is a great product I also used it on another vehicle to remove some water spots from the hood and worked flawlessly brought them all out and shined up great am definitely going to try some more shine supply polishes and compounds I know they will be great!
I was expecting this to be comparable to that one polish “perfect finish” boy was I wrong, classic polish seems to leave more gloss and a better finish than any other polish I’ve used !
I use this with classic cut for one steps/ paint enhancements the cycle time and how much you actually need to use is amazing. This little bottle goes a long way! Definitely would recommend!
I’ve been ordering products from Jeremy for several years, and have finished down at least 15-25 vehicles with classic polish. I absolutely love this stuff. The long working time is no joke, At 4-5 passes you’re not even getting close to this stuff running out of lubrication, but you won’t need to do that many passes as it finishes down nice and quick. Do yourself a favor and add this to your arsenal, you definitely won’t regret it.
EXTREMELY good polish for many situations.
I mainly use this as a finishing polish to follow up a heavier cutting step and refine the paint in preparation for Daddy-O or a ceramic coating; However, I am starting to see how versatile it is.
Depending on the paint, it can be a KILLER one step on a wool pad, microfiber cutting pad, foam cutting pad, or a foam polishing pad. Add a drop to Flat Top for a bit longer work cycle, a drop to Chop Top to tone down the dusting (even though it isn’t very bad to begin with), or to Classic Cut for a slightly longer cycle and a better finish.
It is a touch on the oily side, which normally I would HATE - but I have learned to really enjoy it here for the cycling benefits and versatility it allows, plus a little bit truly goes a LONG way. I use 3-4 dots to prime a fresh pad, and only 1-2 per reload and that’s well plenty. It is also very easy to wipe off, unlike most other “oilier” products, which is a HUGE deal for me.
Time and time again, after multiple panels wipedowns, the finish remains true. Zero fillers and a truly crisp finish. Love it. Buy the 32oz!!

After using Classic Cut I applied the Classic Polish and the paint came alive. On a black car it gave the paint amazing depth and clarity. This is an A+ product!
This polish is amazing! I use it with a microfiber finishing pad to remove any defects left after a session with flat top. It finishes really well due to the diminishing abrasives, using a dense pad to a microfiber will give you end result that are more outstanding that 90% of the products out there. Love being able to use this with had or machine and removing all the hated wash haze and swirls found on those neglected cars.
This polish does it all. From moderate defect removal and perfect finishing to light haze on soft paints. This polish is the definition of versatile, and its performance has yet to be matched. Whether achieving noticeable differences in clarity and depth on brand new factory paint and effectively removing RIDS, to a great one step for light to moderately damaged paint. Love this product.
Classic Polish will be your best friend! Light swirling or micromarring left behind? This is your answer. It finishes down better than any other polish I have used period. A little product goes a long way, and it is sure to give you the mirror reflection you are looking for!
