With over 12 months of  testing in our professional detail shop, we’ve transitioned all of our Rupes polishers to this game-changing backing plate, and we’re confident it will elevate your detailing results too.

  Unlike the stock backing plate, our design leaves a slight gap between the plate and the housing. This subtle change significantly reduces the risk of stalling caused by the plate rubbing against the housing, allowing for smoother, uninterrupted operation even under heavy use.

• More Flexibility for a Better Finish
  The backing plate is intentionally less rigid, providing more give when it comes into contact with the surface of the car. This added flexibility allows for more controlled movements, reducing uneven pressure and improving your polishing results for a smoother, more consistent finish.
