Solution All-Purpose Cleaner - 1 Gallon
Also available in:
ONE CLEANER. EVERY SURFACE.
Solution is a heavy-duty all-purpose cleaner that lifts road film, tire residue, and interior grime through emulsification — loosening dirt rather than burning it like your standard degreaser. Dilute it down for interior work, run it mid-strength for wheels and engine bays, or full strength for heavy degreasing. One bottle, every job.
- Emulsifying Formula: Surfactants and chelating agents loosen dirt at the molecular level.
- Fully Dilutable: Mix to match the job. 10:1 for light interior cleaning and paint prep. 4:1 for wheels, tires, rubber, fender wells, and most engine bay or undercarriage work. 1:1 only when 4:1 isn't enough — heavy degreasing on caked grease, dried mud, or undercarriages that haven't seen soap in years.
- Multi-Surface Coverage: Cleans leather, vinyl, plastics, tires, wheels, undercarriage, engines, and paint.
- Concentrate Format: One gallon mixes down into a lot of bottles. Built for shop use and serious DIY.
- Not For: Sensitive interior surfaces or high-end interior work — for those, we recommend our Leather & Interior Cleaner to be safe.
How to Use
Method 1: Interior Cleaning (10:1)
- Dilute 1 part Solution with 10 parts water in a Shine Supply 32oz spray bottle.
- Spray Solution directly onto a microfiber towel or The Bristle Boss. Never spray directly onto an interior surface.
- Wipe or agitate the surface.
- Wipe clean with a fresh microfiber towel. Don't let it dry.
Method 2: Paint Prep (10:1)
- Dilute 1 part Solution with 10 parts water in a Shine Supply 32oz spray bottle.
- Pre-rinse the panel with water.
- Spray Solution directly onto the panel.
- Agitate if needed, then rinse off completely. Don't let it dry.
Method 3: Wheels, Tires & Rubber (4:1)
- Dilute 1 part Solution with 4 parts water.
- Spray directly onto wheels, tires, rubber floor mats, or fender wells.
- Agitate with The Palm Pro for the wheel and The Tire Tamer for the tire.
- Rinse thoroughly with water. Don't let it dry.
Method 4: Engine Bays & Undercarriage (4:1)
- Dilute 1 part Solution with 4 parts water. This is the standard strength for most engine bay and undercarriage cleaning when surfaces aren't caked with grease or mud.
- Spray directly onto the engine bay or undercarriage.
- Agitate with The Bristle Boss for engine bay work or The Reacher for undercarriage.
- Rinse thoroughly with water. Don't let it dry.
Method 5: Heavy Degreasing (1:1)
- Dilute 1 part Solution with 1 part water. Reserve this strength for the heaviest jobs — caked engine grease, dried mud knockdown, neglected undercarriages, or anything 4:1 won't touch.
- Spray onto the affected area.
- Agitate with The Bristle Boss or The Reacher.
- Rinse thoroughly. Don't let it dry — it's critical at this strength.
Detailer Tips
- Start at the weakest dilution that gets the job done. Most engine and undercarriage work is a 4:1 job, not a 1:1 job.
- Don't ever let it dry.
- Always test on fragile or high-end interior surfaces first.
- Grab three Shine Supply 32oz bottles and pre-dilute one at 10:1, one at 4:1, and one at 1:1. Use colored tape to label and differentiate them.
