Bug Off - 32oz. w/ Spray Bottle

Sale price$22.00

DON'T GET BUGGED.

Bug guts aren't just ugly, they're acidic. Left on paint long enough, they etch clear coat and leave permanent marks. Bug Off breaks the acidic residue down on contact so it rinses off during a normal wash, instead of sitting on the surface and eating into the finish. Safe on paint, glass, aluminum, chrome, plastics, and vinyl.

  • Dissolves on contact: Spray it directly on the splatter, give it a minute, and the debris breaks down without aggressive scrubbing or pressure washing. Let the chemistry do the work.
  • Multi surface safe: Works across paint, glass, aluminum, chrome, plastics, and vinyl. Front bumpers, headlights, grilles, windshields, side mirrors, anywhere bugs hit the hardest.
  • Stops acid etching before it starts: Bug residue is acidic. If you don't remove it, it bonds to the clear coat and starts leaving permanent etchings. Bug Off neutralizes and lifts the residue before it has time to damage the finish.
  • Must be diluted 3 to 1: Bug Off ships concentrated. Mix three parts water to one part product in a Shine Supply spray bottle (the dilution tabs make it easy). Using it straight is wasteful and can damage plastics or trim, so don't skip this step.
  • Don't let it dry on the surface: Work in shade and on a cool panel. If Bug Off dries on the surface, it can leave its own residue and is harder to remove. Spray, agitate, rinse, don't let it sit.

How to Use

  1. Rinse the vehicle to knock off loose debris.
  2. Dilute Bug Off 3 parts water to 1 part product in a Shine Supply spray bottle.
  3. Spray directly onto the bug heavy areas: bumper, hood, grille, windshield, side mirrors, and any panel with hits.
  4. Let it dwell for a minute or two, don't let it dry.
  5. Soap over the same area during your contact wash to extend the dwell and keep the surface lubricated.
  6. Agitate with a Bug Scrubber Pad, a clean microfiber, or a wash pad to lift any remaining debris.
  7. Rinse thoroughly.

Detailer Tips

  • Hit bugs at every wash. The longer they sit, the more damage they do. Make Bug Off part of your regular wash routine during bug season.
  • Pair with a Bug Scrubber Pad. The pad's textured surface lifts debris without scratching, way better than a regular wash mitt for this job.
  • Soap over it during the wash. Spraying soap on top of Bug Off keeps it wet longer and gives the chemistry more time to work.
  • Front panels only. No need to spray Bug Off across the whole vehicle, just the panels that actually catch bugs.
