What is the focus of our training?
The Shine Supply Detail Training Course is designed to equip you with the tools to become the person you know you're capable of being. Our training goes beyond the basics—we offer hands-on detailing experience paired with real-world industry wisdom that’s essential to growing your business. The systems and processes we teach are designed to increase efficiency, boost productivity, and ultimately enhance your profitability.
This detail training class will cover the following technical skills
- Industry leading paint correction techniques
- Wet sanding techniques for scratch removal
- Learn to properly utilize and operate a Rotary Polisher
- Express detailing techniques for maximum profit
What qualifies us to train you?
All training is led by Jeremy Stevens, founder of Stevens Detailing, which began as a mobile detailing company in Ventura, CA, in 1996. With over 29 years of hands-on experience, Jeremy spent 18 years successfully running a mobile detailing business before transitioning to a fixed-location operation over the past 11 years.
Jeremy has personally trained over 200 individuals and has been hosting detailing classes since 2014. He is also the founder of Shine Supply, a brand that started in his garage and has grown into a worldwide, seven-figure business. Built on faith, principles, hard work, and consistency, Shine Supply is a testament to what’s possible when you commit to excellence.
Jeremy remains actively involved in the detail shop at Stevens Detailing, ensuring that the techniques you learn are modern, effective, and relevant—not outdated or impractical. When you attend this training, you're stepping into a real, working detail shop that faces real-world challenges every day. We’re here to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate those challenges successfully.
You’ll learn up-to-date methods that adapt to the constantly evolving detailing industry. Beyond the hands-on training, you’ll also gain insight into running a thriving business, directly from Jeremy, who leads a team of 13 at Shine Supply and has built a culture of success.

We've revamped our class to meet the current demands of both the industry and culture. While many detailing classes focus heavily on wet sanding, we’ve shifted our approach to ensure you get the most valuable and relevant training. Wet sanding will still be covered, specifically for removing heavier defects and isolated scratches, but it will no longer be a primary focus as in previous classes. Instead, we’re prioritizing the techniques and strategies that will make the biggest impact on your business and skill sets.
Our new 1-day course is centered around business growth, personal development, and detailing techniques that will elevate the way you operate. We’re cutting through the noise and eliminating the confusion that surrounds so much of the detailing industry. You’ll learn streamlined methods and standardized processes that will help you work smarter, not harder.
Beyond detailing skills, we’re also providing a personal growth worksheet—something you can take home and apply to your life. Because at the end of the day, being a skilled technician can only take you so far. Successful businesses are built by successful people. 2025 Training class date - April 18th (one day class)
Cost $1600
- $400 Non-refundable deposit is required at time of application approval and scheduling.
- 7 students total.
- Lunch will be provided.
- $50 credit towards Shine Supply apparel
- All attendees will receive a Shine Supply Training Class Certificate of Completion.
- Training spots are limited, and not all applications are accepted.
Travel & Hotel:
Students are responsible for travel & hotel costs.
If you're flying, Burbank Airport is closest but LAX typically has more flight options. Shine Supply is located 1 hour from Burbank Airport and approximately 1.5 hours from LAX but commuting traffic can really vary these times at peak hours. You will be responsible for transportation to and from the airport. No rental car is needed once you are in Ventura. You will be picked up and dropped off at the hotel each day.
